Seasons of Change DFW Favorites 2026 Winner & One Million Served

Celebrating a Milestone: One Million Lives Touched
Seasons of Change Inc. proudly announces a monumental achievement in our history of community service. Specifically, we have officially surpassed the incredible milestone of serving over one million individuals. Furthermore, this momentous occasion coincides perfectly with our recent media spotlight. We are deeply honored to be named a Seasons of Change DFW Favorites 2026 award recipient. Therefore, we want to take a moment to reflect on the journey that brought us to this point and celebrate the community that makes our mission possible every single day.
A Legacy of Compassion and Growth
Our story began in 2001 under the visionary leadership of Founder and Executive Director Tavian Harris. Initially, the organization took root as the “Community Changers Project.” Since then, our dedicated team has continually expanded our reach to support overlooked individuals and families. Moreover, we consistently provide fast, judgment-free assistance to those facing significant hardships. Whether our clients need temporary help with diapers and baby essentials or major interventions for housing instability, we remain steadfast in our commitment to empowering them.
Expanding Our Reach Across Texas
Over the years, our operational footprint has grown remarkably. Consequently, we now serve communities well beyond our original Fort Worth borders. In addition to our Arlington headquarters, our life-changing services reach families in Longview, Mesquite, Houston, El Paso, and Oklahoma City. To achieve this, we rely on a robust, passionate network of 74 staff members, 12 contractors, and 95 volunteers. Together, this incredible team operates essential initiatives like the Basic Center, Maternity Group Home, Transitional Living Program, and our renowned “Blessed to Give” outreach.
Honored by Our Community
Being recognized as a Seasons of Change DFW Favorites 2026 winner serves as a beautiful testament to our staff’s tireless dedication. Additionally, it highlights the dignified, compassionate way we treat every single person who waits in line for assistance. Ultimately, we do not just provide resources; we strive to restore hope.
