Located in Arlington, TX, our Transitional Living Program (TLP)<\/a> offers a safe haven for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, providing not just shelter, but a nurturing environment where they can rebuild their lives.<\/p>\n

A Sanctuary for Homeless Youth<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At the heart of our mission is the Transitional Living Program, designed specifically for homeless youth aged 18 to 21. We understand that this age group faces unique challenges, and our goal is to equip them with the skills and education they need to become independent, productive adults. In a world where stability is often a rare commodity, we offer a consistent and safe space for these young individuals to grow and thrive.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Comprehensive, No-Cost Services<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We provide a wide range of no-cost services<\/a> that address the fundamental needs of our residents. This includes up to 18 months of housing and basic necessities such as food and clothing. Health is a top priority, so we offer medical and dental care, childcare assistance, pre and postnatal care, and parenting skill classes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But our support doesn\u2019t stop at basic needs. We also provide continuous counseling and case management services to ensure our residents have the emotional and practical support they need. Our education assistance, job aptitude evaluations, and career planning services help set them on a path to long-term success. Additionally, life skills training covers essential areas such as budgeting, cooking, and time management, which are crucial for maintaining independence. We also engage residents in community service learning activities and assist them in locating and leasing apartments when they are ready to transition.<\/p>\n

Flexible and Ongoing Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our program is designed to be flexible, allowing youth to move through it at their own pace. Even after they exit the program, they retain access to counseling and case management<\/a> services for up to 90 days, providing a vital safety net as they adjust to their new lives.<\/p>\n
